3VR ANNOUNCES MOST COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT FOR IQINVISION MEGAPIXEL AND IP CAMERAS

3VR Searchable Video Platform Adapts Rapidly to Provide Support for Advanced Features

San Francisco — April 1, 2009 –3VR, the searchable surveillance leader, today announced expanded support for IQeye high performance megapixel and IP cameras from market-leading manufacturer IQinVision, making 3VR’s support for IQeye cameras the most comprehensive in the industry. Customers will benefit from features such as auto-discovery of cameras, advanced configuration, and maintenance utilities.

“We’ve created a much more seamless experience between our searchable video platform and IQinVision’s IQeye cameras,” said Tim Frederick, director of engineering at 3VR. “Because of 3VR’s unique platform architecture, we can rapidly assimilate new product functionality into our platform, giving customers access to all the high performance features IQeye cameras have to offer.”

IQeye network cameras are renowned for the best image quality, network stability, and reliability for indoor or outdoor surveillance. When combined with 3VR’s innovative functionality and configuration interface, it becomes cost effective to replace multiple legacy analog cameras with only a few megapixel cameras.

Among the new features supported are camera auto-discovery on IQeye camera MAC address and IP address, the ability to adjust image gain style, shutter speed, autogain, , IQeye LIGHTGRABBER, image brightness, contrast, saturation, and image sharpness as well as the ability to support IQeye’s virtual camera (VCAM) functionality.
