More than just camera compatibility, 3VR’s integration to Arecont Vision’s H.264 megapixel IP cameras provides a simple to use interface allowing customers to segment the field of view of megapixel cameras into multiple virtual camera streams. This gives customers the ability to integrate each virtual camera to data systems such as POS, teller and access control systems, providing accurate and rapid video alerts and search based on nearly any data point. Camera virtualization also provides storage benefits to customers who can retain only the portions of the video data that matter.

In addition, Arecont Vision’s ability to deliver both H.264 and MJPEG allows high quality images for video analytics with the benefit of highly compressed H.264 video for storage.
